What's the best way to wake up a 17 year old boy??

With Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Buns slid on his bed.

Yup.  That's how I woke up my brother today.  I didn't want him to sleep all day so I made the cinnamon buns, put two on a plate, slid it on his bed near his head, and moved his blanket so he could smell them.  He woke up pretty quick.  Food as an alarm clock.  Gotta love that.  LOL.

Aww! What a good big sister you are! I would have trickled icy water on the back of his neck to wake him up. lol Or pounced him.

Boy, you are a nice sister... I would have stripped that blanket off and yelled "WAKEY WAKEY BUTTHEAD!" and walked out....   my brother and I have a very different relationship than you two, obviously....

What a nice sister! My first thought is to rip off the covers, but then again, I don't want a morning "show" so maybe not! I always just jumped on my brother to wake him up if he didn't wake up when I tried to do it nicely. he he he. He hated it, of course.

My FIL said flipping the mattress worked to wake up my husband, who is a very deep sleeper. Remember the big earth quake in LA when all the riots happened? Yeah, according to my MIL, he slept right through it... and his bed moved from one side of the room to the other, his dresser toppled over, and everything fell of his walls.

Thank goodness he's gotten better about it, we just have to have the most annoying alarm clock ever invented. (This super high-pitched squealing sound. I hate the damn thing. Makes me want to ram a screwdriver into my temple.)

It's amazing how people don't hold themselves to the standards they set for others.

I figured a nice wake up would make him more willing to help me around the house today.  LOL.

I hate waking people up.  I give my kids a nice "good morning, time to get up"  after that they know I don't play around and it's time to get up.

You are super nice! I thought it was going to say a bucket of ice water! Which is effective as well! Just makes for a stressful rest of the day!
