What do you think of them?

I'm watching the Duggars new show where they have thier 19th child, I hope this is a wake up call to them. I'm just glad the baby is ok.

Ok, scratch the Duggars from the post compleatly, What do you think of QUIVERFULL families in general.... not just how many kids they have, but thier way of life, beliefs, religion... etc.... please people, stop making assumptions! I don' t know how much clearer I can be!

SO, What about thier other ways of life... not just the amount of kids and lack of belief in BC?

For those of you who don't know what quiverfull is http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/758945/quiver_full_the_new_religious_movement.html?cat=25

Ok, I'm wondering where you all are reading that I don't like them or even agree with thier way of life..... seriously, people, don't make assumptions.

I wasn't just talking about the kids here.... I was talking about thier way of life ingeneral.

you mean letting God decide how many children you have?

I think it's fine for them. For me, 2 is enough.

I don't think anything of quiverfull families. Just cause I would do differently doesn't mean their decision is wrong.

I didn't see it. But I wonder about those Quiverfull families....

I know they think that God will provide for them financially, but I gotta wonder if it works out for other families the way it has for the Duggars...?

If they can give their children a good home in a loving environment, then I see nothing wrong with it.

Whatever tickles their pickle.  But 1 is enough for me!  And by all means kudos to anyone who can manage that many kids!

I don't watch that show and I don't know what a quiverfull family is, but I would LOVE to have a bunch of kids like that! Maybe not 19 of them, but I can see myself with maybe 10. If I had the financial means, I would definitely have that many!!

There are several members in my exes family who think God will provide and decide.  They don't have the financial means to provide for these children which makes me sad.  One family just had their 5th boy and he has EXTREME medical issues and she brags about how she can't wait to be pregnant again!   That is when it frustrates me!!  Otherwise, to each their own!

Some other people of other faiths feel that they will take as many children god gives them. I know a couple who feels this way and they have 7 children. As long as you can provide for your children it does not bother me. I have two that is enough for me.
