OMGGG. I am sooo PISSED! & I dont know what to do. HELP!
Okay so on Jan. 31st, we went to Furniture Liquidators and bought a new sectional. The guy who sold it to us told us that the shipment will come to the store on Friday (2-6) and our sectional will be here on Tuesday (Today). They said that we had to have everything out of our living room that morning because the moving company that delivers it will not drop it off unless we had an empty room. So last night, we gave our couches away. The weather man told us we should get 1-2 inches. I woke up to 6 inches of snow. I figured that the moving company wasnt coming so I called to see when it would be delivered....
The lady that I talked to said that she has no idea where our sectional is, and she got me the manager. Well, he said that our furniture hasnt even been delivered to the store yet, and it might come in on Thursday. (The way he was acting it doesnt even seem like I will get it that soon.) If it comes in on Thursday, then the earliest we could get it is NEXT Tuesday!!! A week from today! I was sooo mad talking to him because he told me there was no way of knowing when I would get it. I have my reciept that says that it will be delivered TODAY!... I understand the snow, but not the fact that they have no idea when I will get it.
I mean we have no furniture in our living room. I asked to speak with the Managers manager and he said that she would be in tomorrow but theres nothing she can do to help me. He kept saying I dont understand what youre wanting us to do. etc. He said he has no control over all of that and was being SO rude to me. I already bought the couch, payed to get it delivered and everything... Of course he doesnt care. He told me to call back tomorrow and talk to the guy that sold it to me. (He wasnt in today.) I said, well how is that going to help me... YOU are his manager! He said well Im not sure, theres nothing I can do to help you. Then he asks me if I want to come back into the store and purchase something we do have available! UGHHH. NO! I want the one I picked out!!! He tells me that in the computer it says it will be delivered to the store on Thursday but thats not guaranteed.
But, when I bought the furniture, I asked the guy... "Are you 100% sure that it will be here on Friday, So I will get it sometime that week?" He said "Yes, It will be at your house on Tuesday.." The reason why I was so worried is because Erics grandparents are coming in town this weekend and were having Grandmas 70th birthday party at our house!!!! I just called Erics dad and he said its fine to do it at his house, its just the point.
Im just so mad and really needed to let all that out. What do you think I should do about it. I have no idea what to say to that manager tomorrow.

I would be raging! I would see if there is a customer service # that you can call, be nice and maybe they will give you a discount of a gift card. Just explain the situation that you have your proof and that you had plans for the furnuiture (party). If they are nasty, then rage out on there ass and tell them to cancel the order and refund your money and go to a different store. Good Luck and let me know what happens.
Had that happen to us when we paid cash for our washer/dryer set. We waited for over a month for the warehouse to get the delivery, just so we could go pick it uo to bring it home! Hope you have better luck!
I would march right into that store, grab the little shit who sold it to you by the ear and take him and your receipt to tha manager and tell him "look, here is the jack ass who sold this to me, the one who told me we would for sure have it on "Tuesday" and the one who said we had to get EVERYTHING out of the livingroom in the am or the movers would not deliver. This man is the reason I got rid of my sofas on Monday and have NO furniture now. When someone says IT WILL BE THERE and tells you to clear the room of all furniture you do not expect that the furniture will not even be anywhere NEAR the store on THAT day." Tell him you would understand if it could not be delivered due to the snow, but, to not even know where your furniture is is unexceptable, then tell him that it was an inconvenience to have to find somewherelese to hold grandma's party at the last minute, but, since that is done they can either give you a nice discount on your furniture or give you a full refund because you all can sit on the damn floor.

I looked up the number for the customer service. Its in the same place that I bought the furniture. It has a different number but the same address?? Im not really sure, but I called and left a message. There is probably 10 furniture liquidators in Kentucky and So. Indiana, so im not sure how it all works. If they dont call me back by tomorrow afternoon, Ill deff. be calling back. Im just so frustrated.
