There's a reality show (I know, I know.. don't click away yet), but it's unlike ANY reality show I've ever seen. Even the hubs is addicted. It takes nine people, sticks them in an eight by eight 'pod', and have them do the most mind bending, boundary pushing things. They never, ever see their competitors, but are occassionally 'rewarded' with facts about their competitors.. but it's usually irrelevant, because they are competing against themselves, ultimately. Everything in their lives are controled by Val, a voice that comes over the intercom system. She controls when they eat, what they eat, when they sleep (if they sleep), the temperature, the sounds, the.. well, everything. On top of that, they are no longer allowed their name and are instead known by only their number (1-9) and there are two parts to each episode: a challenge, and a treatment for the losers of the challenge.

It's the fourth season now, just watched episode two and my god, it's the best yet. I'm shocked that there is so little publicity, that it isn't being RAVED about. If you haven't seen it, please go to hulu.com and view the first three seasons, and then continue to watch. If you HAVE watched and ARE watching, who else is totally gunning for number six to win the 50K? I would love to do this.. my biggest challenge would be the actual solitary confinement. I could handle all the treatments, the sleep deprivation, the pain, the lack of food (the only food they're allowed outside of 'rewards' are nutritional meal bars and contestants frequently lose thirty plus pounds, lol, which would also be awesome.)

Who else would LOVE to do this? Do you think you could make it through? It's over a time period of maybe a week, but it lasts a whole season.. man, is this intense!

I watch it every season!  I just saw episode two on demand.  I was freaking out when they were going to make them drink their sweat.  I kept hoping they'd say "Not really!" LOL and then they did!

Did you just watch this episode, with the self inflicted pain? Sheesh! I had such high hopes for number 4.. and then she just.. hit that damn red button. Man, people need to watch it! Sooo much better than 'the Bachelorette' Bargh.

LOL I want Tyler to win!  I liked him the first time he was on.  I wanted him to win that time too but he didn't.  And for those who don't know, it's on FOX Reality.

Don't Say You Don't Have Enough Time. You have exactly the same numbers of hour per day that were given to Helen Keller, Louis Pasueru, Micelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo Da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson and Albert Einstein.

Fox Reality, but it's going off air on the end of march and Solitary is trying to find a new channel to go on. I really hope it hits fox prime (You know, with the simpsons and American Idol), even if it's a weird time.
