is it racist to burn a cross? or did that somehow turn up to be a racism symbol? just saying, i saw someone freak out over a picture on facebook where these kids were having a bon fire and was burning a cross like figure for fun.

No it's not racist, it's anti-Christianity, which seems to be trendy right now!

i think the KKK does this, so if it were a case like that, then yes.

but if it is just someone burning a cross, or someone doing it bc they dont like the religion, then no that isnt racist

Are you kidding me. It's the height of racism. I've never heard of someone burning a damn cross for a bonfire either. It's extremely racist

Why?  What about a Cross is strictly attached to one race?

I too didnt under stand that????????  the cross is about god/jesus/christiananity(sp)

I know that it is some sort of tradition but has been turned into a racist symbol.....it would be safe to assume that the majority of the people feel that it is a racist symbol
