As a training emt/paramedic this makes me sick *piog*
Here is the link to the video I will be touching on:

50year old Curtis Mitchell died after EMT/Paramedics did not go to his home after he placed 10 calls to 911. What kind of ppl do this? I mean yes, roads were blocked due to the huge snow storm they had gotten. But, our job is to provide the best quality of care and god forbid these lazy fuckers got out of their rig and walked to this mans house. They did respond to the first call but stopped half a mile away. The second time they were only 4 blocks away. That man died in his home due to the negligence of these emergency workers. He sat at home snowed in and unable to get to the hospital and suffered until he died. Someone should have to answer for this! Things like this is what makes the general public not trust emergency workers. This kind of thing makes people not want to use 911. I am appalled at what this man went through and how the emergency system there handled the situation.

there was no evacuation order. They were 4 blocks away they should have went to him. We are taught that it is our job to provide the best care possible. We drag beloved pets out of freezing waters get out of our rigs and struggle through snow to get to them yet these ppl couldnt walk 4 blocks to provide care to a man that clearly needed it. That is abandonment and negligence in our handbooks and they are subject to be sued.
