DD can open the sliding glass door. What can we do?

We have a stick so the door can't open and keep it locked. DD can unlock it and take the stick out. Is there anything else you can buy to keep her in?
It leads to the pool, so this is urgent! I need to buy something today. I can't close the room off because it is the dining room, open and no doors and baby gates do not keep DD in!

you can buy the sticks the you put at the top of the sliding glass door and she wouldn't be able to reach it.

they have bars at home depot or lowes that screw into the frame they suck once your kid is tall enough to reach but you can always put it up high to start with.

can you move the bar higher?   I have done this before with my kids shove a babygate under where the bar is not much room to pry it out that way

We always used a tight fitting board. Maybe check at the hardware/home improvement stores and see what they reccommend.GL!

I took a cheap baby gate from kmart and put it on the nonsliding part and never had a problem with my kids being able to get the baby gate to open.
