I'm sorry I didnt mean to come off as rude, lol. I use the word freakin alot, lol. but the whole facial recognition thing yeah maybe in a normal family but not mine,lmao... I am even horrible at it.

Quoting Gecko85:

Okay. I wasn't trying to be rude. I was confused. I still think if it were her she would know instinctually. The human brain is programmed for facial reccognition.

Quoting missingbelle:

It was freaking yrs ago, she thinks it could be her thats why she is freakin out. I am calling the detective to see if we can find out somehow.

Quoting Gecko85:

Wait. I am confused. Your mom can't recognize a picture of herself?

I was thinking the same thing.  if it is her, don't you think she would recognize her own face?

I don't know I think a lot of women looked the same in the 70's. I don't think its her...but it could be...i'm lost.

The FBI and some police departments have face recognition software...she could always send this photo in along with some photos of herself and they could compare it for her.  There is a larger version of this same photograph in which you can clearly see that most likely this woman is topless.  There are some people who model like this for photographers and artists...it doesn't necessarily mean it was done for pornographic reasons.  My own mother was a nude model for a sculpture in the 70's...try explaining that one to your classmates when you go on a field trip to the Denver Art museum ;P  It's a little weird thinking of our moms like that...but they were young and wild at one time as well.

If it is her, thank goodness she didn't end up one of his victims.

Well I know what your talking about...you did not lose me because I was reading this story earlier on Nancy Grace and CNN websites. The pictures do look pretty similar. The one on the bottom her eyes look funny like maybe she was drugged. But at that age wouldn't she remember? Does she remember being around that guy?

That would have been awesome if it was her! But its not. I believe it may have been when he started college in Washington then shortly after moving to Oregon. They worked at a pizza place that later on my grandma had bought.

Quoting Mary229:

Is your grandmother a writer perchance?  I read an article in reader's digest once that was a book excerpt written by a woman who worked with Ted Bundy.  Just curious if your grandmother was the author of the book that the excerpt was taken from...

Quoting JuneWestling:

My grandmother worked with Ted Bundy. Right next to him each work day. Never knew about it. How creepy is that? So I would be totally freaked out too. There are many cases a lot of people don't remember taking a picture of themselves. And if years has passed sure things sag and droop and you may not recognize it any more because for the same reason you don't remember taking the picture in the first place.

That would have been fun. Not the whole thing but to later on be all like I knew that guy and I watched him getting taken away! Gives me the hibby gibbys just thinking that my neighbor could be a creep! So far so good on that one though

Quoting Gecko85:

One of my friend's dad's lived in the same dorm as the unibomber. I was at dinner at their house the day he got caught. My friend's dad was like, 'I knew that guy was a weirdo."
