What do you do as a mom that other people may gasp at or look down on, but you do it anyway because it works for you?
I let my 3yr old go to sleep watching tv in his room.
I send my 3yr old to bed with a cup of water
My kids are 3 and 7 months and bedtime is 11pm because it works for us.
My 3yr old gets to play wii when he is behaving.
My 7 month old loves watching tv
When my 7 month old was younger I would prop her bottle so I could get the dishes or some cleaning done.
My 3yr old is still not potty trained (he will be 4 in October)
My 7 month old sleeps on her belly at night.
If ds does not want to eat dinner I do not make him. (he will eat it when he is hungry)
I sometimes take the kids out to walmart really late at night because it is less crowded.
I am sure I do alot more but what do you do that makes other moms gasp?
More than once I wanted to run away from my kids and not come back for at least 24 hours...
I won't hesitate to give my daughter a swift kick in her ass when she has it coming (usually in stores with an audience).
I let her eat cereal for dinner once in a while when I don't feel like cooking.
McDonald's is her best friend.
I allow her to watch horror movies.
With both of my pregnancies I drank pop. Dr.Pepper with the first and Coke with the second

i drink on occassion

my son does NOT always get what he wants, on the other hand sometimes he gets EVERYTHING he wants and more
i completely ignore temper tantrums to the point of just stepping over him on the floor and carrying about my day
Mac N cheese is a staple food in my house
yeah I start my 2nd trimester tomorrow (technically in 2 hrs lol) and I have had zero problems as of yet (first pregnancy the problems started at 7 weeks). I didn't drink a drop my first trimester because of the risk, but started getting really bad headaches, so I have one at lunch to prevent them. The second one I just really wanted lol. She thinks she knows everything about every pregnancy bc she's in nursing school and has had 3 kids.

My 12 yo has no bed time. he is on the Honor Roll and is a good kid. I'm a laid back mom, as long as they do what they are supposed too. I know there are alot more,lol
