 A bikini that is.  Every year... I sure do.  For 10 years now.  I wear them too since I have the body that I can.  Why the drama about them?

 

Yes I said I HAVE THE BODY FOR A BIKINI!  Here's the difference for those a few french fries short of a happy meal.  Every child has a body for a bikini.  Their bodies are precious.  NOT every woman has the body for a bikini.  It's not about "showing off" your body, but about not wearing something that will make people vomit at the pool when you don't look ok wearing one.  It's not about pimping out your dd... There is a difference between a child wearing a bikini and an adult.  While some women do so to show off their bodies... it's not what it's about with a child.  It's just damn cute.

 

AND one more thing.  How twisted to say she cannot wear a bikini as a toddler, but she can as a teenager?  This makes NO sense to me! So while her body is chunky and that of an innocent baby, toddler or GIRL she cannot wear one, but as soon as her boobies and booty pops out THEN she can wear them?  Isn't that when you WOULD want her to be more modest?  While there ARE some trashy bikini's.... my dd NOR myself look anything short of classy in our bikini's!  You can still be modest and have class.  That doesn't go away because my BELLY BUTTON is showing.  That's not a vagina ya'll.  It's a NAVEL!

I think once she's older possibly, but on a younger girl, no. There's absolutely NO reason to dress your dd in such little clothing. One pieces are just fine. What real reason is there for putting a little girl in a bikini?

Just as you implied, women wear bikinis to show off their bodies. Why would I want my daughter to show off her body??? I WOULDN'T. Case closed.
