scared something could be really wrong, and noone will listen to me!..long but pls read ..EDIT WITH UPDATE
Ok so this is long and Im sorry, but PLEASE read and bump if nothing else...Maybe anyone could have an idea, or ANYTHING!
So the first thing, that has always happened, is my son and throwing up. It is at least an every other day thing it my house. He laughs to hard, he throws up. He crys to hard he throws up. He just plain rins around to much, he throws up. I walked to the doctor about it and he says it is just a phase, and that I just need to make sure he takes a drink..whatever else.
Next...these last few months, since a little before christmas, he has been sick on and off, over and over. He has had, croup, phnemonia, bronchitis...bronchitic twice. And just plain colds. *(OR so thats what every one keeps saying)*. He has never once been tested for ANYTHING! OK well when he had pnemonia, they did an xray. Everytime he has had any of these sicknesses, he throws up also. Usually before, during, and after. But not often (if that makes sence).
He has started throwing up as like a normal occurance, at the VERY least once a day, even if he isnt "sick" at all. He will litterly be sitting there watching tv, and start throwing up. I have brought him to 2 dif doctors, and 3 different hospitals. Noone seems to care to listen to me. Mostly because he will be fine when hes seen. He has no fever, nothing.
So this last time has been it the last straw....It started friday. Started coughing a little, and had a runny nose. Well dr sais...allergies this time... I did everything they tell you. Prop his mattress, humidifier...you know....yesterday cough got a little worse...so last night he woke up about 6 times throwing up. Woke up PERFECTLY FINE this morning. Not even a runny nose. But it all changes at lunch time. He went to take a bite of sandwich, and started throwing up...after throwing up, felt fine. I let him eat some crackers and ginger ale, again, seemes fine after. Right before he went to bed, he was in the bath, started to cough a little, and threw up like 3 times. Now he went to bed, bed propped, and vicks humidifier,...because he still has a decent cough almost sounds croup-ey. at about 9 he woke and threw up..he didnt even know he did...he was making a gagging like face then and I sat him up and then he threw up.. Now he isnt throwing up because he is coughing. I am laying right next to him and I have been awake. He just threw up. So I decided Im bringing him back to ER. While hubbys stripping all the sheets, my son falls asleep in my bed. So I figured Id wait till he wakes up to bring him to the ER.
But I just KNOW they'll think its nothing. I am not a hypocondriact (SP?) I KNOWWW something is wrong other then these colds and all. I just dont know what....I am going to the ER and am not going to be nice this time. I mean not to mean cause I want him taken care of.
I am sitting right next to him, scared to fall asleep, scared hes going to throw up and chock.
I know this is long but anything anyone has to say? advice on what more I can do for him? What I should say to ER doc? Anything?
Sorry it has taken me so long to update! And thanks for EVERYONES suggestions/advice/prayers!
He, I guess, has acid reflux. He was admited into the hospital sunday...not by choice..but I said I would (what someone suggested) leave and come right back every time they say we can go...until they run any test possible. We were there for about 12 hours...but thats what they came up with. He has to see a gastrolist(sp?)...So well see..
Thanks again!!
I am sorry this is happening to your baby. Im sure it is heart breaking but I have no idea. Here's a bump and Good luck with everything!

I also forgot to add....he was always ERY healthy...he has never even had an ear infection.
and also, I have asked fir him to be tested for something, and they all say it isnt needed...its just...this or that.
Quoting reecenkaden:
Do you have any pets? He can be vomiting because he picked up worms from one of them.

this was the first thing that popped into my head...
It's awful when your child is sick. Your mother's intuition is telling you something, listen to it! Do whatever it takes to get your son the help he needs. The ER might not do too much tonight, but on Monday perhaps you should see a new doctor, if his current doctor is not listening to you. Have his ears been checked? My daughter vomits when she has an ear infection because it throws off her equilibrium. Perhaps he has food allergies? I don't know what it could be, I've never heard of this, but it is definitely not normal. If you are concerned, do not stop until you feel your child is healthy and safe. I wish you the best, mama!
