I really really don't want any drama, it's just a question. We're hoping for a boy and I say yes but my hubby says no. If you would like to include your reasons for whatever you have decided I would love to read. I don't really have an argument for either side yet except that's just what's always been done.
bumping your post....
Do you have a BOY?? If so, come join us at RAISING BOYS! It's a great group for mothers of boys of any age! Hope to see you there!! http://www.cafemom.com/group/336/
Yes and I absolutely regret that decision. If I ever have another son, he will NOT be circumcised.
I did what my husband wanted... He wanted it done... He has one, I don't... His decision.
I didn't have a strong feeling one way or another, and DH did. It's a family tradition to not circumcize. After the fact, There's no way I would have been able to let anybody cut his penis. It's painful, and crazy. People are worried about hygeine, but hello. Teach your kids to pull back the skin and bam. no problems. You teach them to clean behind there ears right? Brush there teeth? Same thing.
I voted yes even though we don't have a son yet (he might be on the way, but we're not finding out what we're having this time). Anyway...if/when we have boys we will be circumcising. My hubby and I agree on the issue because it's Biblical.
