It came out that he has had a ton of horrible business deals that have fallen through on him. He has left others high and dry while he filed for bankruptcy. The interviews about him that I read had people that knew him, they were not surprised at all that he would pull a scam like this.
He was abusing it and didn't want to get a speeding ticket IMO
