That your rent/ mortgage is so high? Seriously.
We only pay 300 a month, but that is cheap here. Rent averages around 600 a month. But we live in a very small town. I know other places like Phoenix, where rent and stuff is that high.
We have had to live off of 900 a month. Wow.
Sorry it just shcoked me that ya'll pay so much.
Some of ya'lls mortgage payments are higher then our monthly income. We would be homeless. What is minimum wage where ya'll live? Or the average pay?
**We live in a almost 2000 square foot house. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 bath. Kitchen, diningroom and livingroom. Our bedroom is huge. We have our full sized bed, 2 dressers, ours sons crib and still have plenty of room to get around.

We pay 1150 for a good sized house with a pool (rent, but I know for a fact the mortgage is only 20 bucks less than that). My DH works in the oilfield, and I have no idea how much minimum wage is here... isnt it the same everywhere in the US or does it vary by state? Oh, and were in East Texas!

Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
here in Ohio the rent can range from 275 for a 1 bedroom eficiency to 2000 a town house and houses.
it is not cheap by any standards! that is why buying is always better
We live in Atlanta, GA and we only have a townhome, which cost $1000 + monthly dues.
Maybe the size of the home is much bigger than yours?
Minimum wage here is $7.15 I think. Just down the street u can get a 1 bedroom apartment for 300 a month, and all u pay is electric. My dad lives in one and it's really nice. When I was on my own my rent was $325 and I made about 600-700 a month, but my rent didn't include utilities or anything. I had a little extra money each week, just not a lot.
We live in Michigan. Average rent/mortgage here isn't that much (you can get a house to rent, 3 bedrooms, for like $400 in this city) but we pay a mortgage of $4700 on our house, it's almost 6000 sq. ft., 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and other stuff. Obviously our mortgage is going to be more. I think min. wage here is $7.50/hr....not positive though! I think average pay around here (again, not positive!) is around $13-15/hr.
I live in Maryland which is basically the D.C./MD/VA area. The cost of living here is not cheap (I WISH!!) but our car notes alone are about 678 a month. My rent is too high. I always say we may as well try and get a house because we are paying mortgage rates! Bills are depressing-lol. I would say a 1 bedroom in this area is maybe about 875 a month or so and usually do not include utilities. Hell I wish we were even paying that amount!
