UGGG!! If you have kids teach them some manners!
I babysit 3 boys. The youngest is one and is ok. The other 2 are 5 and 4. These are the most disrespectful, misbehaved, and sassy mouth children I have ever met. They have no respect towards my children's toys. They have already broke two and even though the father said he would pay for it, he has gone back on that and said no. I told them they were not allowed in my son's room until he got home. I got sassed and said that I was mean and that my kids were not playing with them. I just told them to stop poking my children and the oldest said he could do what he wanted. I THINK NOT! What happened to manners? I came home after a week away and watched them he day after I came back. The middle one looked at me and said, Your house is messy. Um yea, I was gone a week and dh worked all week. That is rude.
see thats why im shocked when people look at me like im crazy when i make Tre' say excuse me. he knows his manners and he will use them dont see why adults think its weird. that dad really needs to teach his kids manners or it will only get worse as they get older.
manners?? what's manners?? never heard of those! ;-)
yeah, i feel the same way with some children that i know. but kids can be brutally honest too!
I wouldn't continue to babysit them and I'd tell the parents why. Maybe they will realize they need to teach their children some manners if they are going to get along in the real world.

Last December my DD was "shopping" on the other side of the isle from me, at Children's Place at the outlet mall, and she said "excuse me" to a lady, who came over to tell me that she used her manners and I should be proud of her. :)

I babysit some children with the same manners (or lack of). Very aggravating. I see my kids picking up on those manners, though I work really hard to combat it without talking badly about the kids. I mean, it's not their fault they haven't been taught how to behave and talk to others. When I am with those kids, you can bet I don't put up with any crap. If they need to learn manners from me, so be it.
