I let him leave yesterday. I told my MIL that I needed him to leave & I wanted him gone now!!

She took him for a few days I get him back Wednesday. I love him to death, but lets face it we all need a few days to ourselves every once in awhile.

I understand- I think you get credit for saying when you've had enough and need a break.

So did you cry from missing him when he was gone? from the picture I bet he's an experience!

Since my kid's have been born (my oldest is 7, my youngest is 2) 1 have had 3 days that I was without them and that was to go to a funeral in Chicago.

I didn't cry, I am enjoying this free time. I think the last time he stayed away from me was about a year ago & then it was only for a day.

He is an awesome kid. I love every minute with him!! I have a huge bond with him. I have 5 kids & I love them all, but this one came into my life at a time when I needed extra love, someone that would love me no matter what. He saved my life, I really mean saved my life. I was very depressed when I got PG with him. He is my lifesaver!!

My oldest is 5 and we haven't been away from him for even one day.  I can only imagine the peace and quiet:)  Hopefully we can try that some time!!

I have 5 kids. When the older 4 was young I never had anyone that would watch them. The first time I got any time away was when they had school. No family member had the time to have them spend the night with them, so I never had them go anywhere & they had no friends for quite sometime.

Lol. I am tempted to ship him back 1200 miles to my mom.. Sigh. She used to live two hours away.

I wish that I could have time alone for a change.

I've only gotten one half day off since the birth of my daughter two years ago. That was only because I was so physically sick that I called my MIL and (for the first time) asked her for help.I had a 103 fever, couldn't eat/drink anything, couldn't stop vomiting, was dizzy, couldn't stand without falling, low blood sugar, and I was in so much pain (from dry heaving all day and strap throat). She came and got both of my children for the rest of the day.I went to the doctor.Got some nice medication and was out of it for the rest of the day.Sad to say it,but it was nice.lol!

My MIL lives with us now.No more time outs for me.
