THIS IS MY FAMILY,MY LIFE, MY WORLD AND THE ONLY REASON WHY I'M HERE.
Get your thyroid checked. 1 out of 4 women in the USA have a thyroid problem..Many undiagnosed. Hair loss is a sign of hypothyroidism and VERY common in women who have given birth.
Hormone imbalance can make your hair fall out. Talk to your gyno about switching birth control. If the one your on is causingyour hair loss try another one or you can even discuss getting a copper T IUD. It doesn't have any hormones. You may also be experiences postpartum hair loss. It happens to many women. Basically a few months after you have a baby the hormones that prevented you from losing hair turn off and you lose all the hair that would have fallen out during your pregnancy.
Hair loss after birth is 100% normal. You're shedding all the pregnancy hormones, and the hair goes along with it. If your hair isn't back to normal by the time your kid is a year old, talk to your doctor. I lost a ton of hair when my daughter was about six months old.
