Is it just me or does anybody else think the world has gone wacko???
Ok so I'm talking about the weather and natural disasters.....so at one point this winter 49 out of 50 states (obviously Hawaii was the 50th) had snow at the same time this winter...not to mention how much snow we've gotten this past winter. Like us, we live in Louisiana and it snowed 3 times this year! First time in 8 years the first time and 3 times is unheard of. So then there's the eartquakes.....2 in Haiti, 2 in Turkey, 2 in Chile and 1 in California....all within 2 months. Now these storms that are sweeping the US, monstrous storms....what's going on?? I've never heard of this happening the way it has. So is it just me or is the world really going haywire?

Supposedly it's an El Nina year and the weather always goes funky those years.
it happens every hundred years or so, its just there are more people now so it seems bigger now than it did then
No it's just going through natural cycles of warm and cold. It's perfectly normal.
What's interesting is that where I live (western WA-Seattle area) it had a light dusting of snow once but that's it. Which is actually pretty normal for us. Last winter was the unusual one around here where it snowed like crazy. Maybe we're a year ahead of everyone else. Lol!
