... one or maybe two. After that if you get pregnant with an unwanted pregnancy you should step up and take responsibility. Of course this doesnt include medical reasons. But then again if you have one or two abortions because they were life threatening you may want to seriously think about getting a tubal.

Edit: After reading some of the posts im wondering how people took this as a pro-life post? To clear things up, the post is about disagreeing with using abortion as birth control!!!

Oh, and BTW when i said "step up and take responsibility" that didnt necessarily mean have a child. It not only means dont have another abortion and another.....then another!! It also means be more responsible while having sex! Ok, a condom breaks and you get pregnant then have an abortion. Is this going to happen 3,4,5 time to the same person? If so they need to learn better ways to prevent pregnancy. If someone is getting multiple abortions its more likely they are using it as BC.

My opinion is that 1st trimester abortions should be legal, no matter the situation.  It is the woman who has to live with the decision, no matter what that decision is.  No one has the right to tell a woman what she should do, regardless of what they think about it.  I had an abortion, I do not regret it. Abortion should be up to only the pregnant woman.  NO ONE ELSE.

I think that abortions should be legal for anyone up to 12 weeks gestation. After that, only for medical reasons. I also believe the father (or possible fathers) should be informed and given say, unless there is a substantiated reason ( like proof that he will harm the mother).

IMO its none of my business what goes on inside another person's uterus. Altough Ive heard of women having 8 or 9 abortions and I wonder how they can keep doing it.

I think we should all butt out and stay out of other people's medical issues personally. just saying

what makes the third any different thanthe second? Can a women not use her second and give it to another person so they can use it for their third? I think I'll continue to believe that each woman can make her own decision's regarding abortion , adoption and parenting since they're the ones who will ultimately live with the consequences of those decisions.

I agree that the father should be informed, but I don't think he should have a say.  He can obviously voice his opinion, but in the end, it is up to the woman, because she will have to carry the child, give birth, and then care for it.

I guess my opinion comes from knowing two men who would have loved to of kept their children if they were given the chance. I've seen the hurt and pain it caused them not to be able to have their kids. I believe they should of had that option since the child was wanted by one of the parents.

I feel abortion, except for medical reasons, is SO wrong.   AND I believe the father should have a say.  We want them to step up and pay chilc support and not be dead beat dad's and yet we want to keep them out of this monumental decision?  No way...
