Why do other people care how a mother lets her children dress? I see it as long as they are dressed for the weather, who cares. I would rather have my child be herself and happy with how she is dressing and expressing herself, than for her to be superficial and worried over her looks.
Yes I admit she is in a few pageants here and there but the few she does (which right now has only been one till May) is the only time I am looking at how she is dressed. Though she is only one, if she were able to pick out her clothes I would let her.
Well actually I do I take her to her closet and she pulls out things and we go from there.
But really who is it killing for someone to take their child out in whatever the child has chosen. Is a child in pajamas going to kill someone if they see that? No.
If it isn't your child why worry.
Actually why worry in general? Why surpress the child's imagination and creativity with the way they want to dress?
My daughter is in a one piece shorts outfit. We have not gone out yet today so I don't care. She doesn't care.
I really honestly don't care, but my husband does. He hates it when she doesn't match. It drives me nuts that he gets so upset about it.
I agree... I have always let my kids pick their own clothes. Sometimes I bust out laughing at what my DD comes downstairs in.. but hey.. She wears what she likes and what she is comfortable in.. thats all that matters. I dont see the problem with kids in PJ's either.. hell there are times *I* wear my PJ's to the store.. LOL
I am glad my boyfriend doesn't care.

imo people care too much about outward appearance. what kind of clothes people wear, what hairstyle they have, what kind of car they have, etc. for me and mine, we look at someones character, not their appearance or material possessions. i dont care if you are in the latest fashions, or in the clothes from the walmart clearance rack. it is how you act and treat people that matters. just my opinion
I wear whatever is comfortable.

oh, and i know i could have easily skipped this thread and not put a comment, but hey, my husband and myself fight/fought for my right to put this and yours to make your pointless thread
Honestly though did you read this one? Because I am not complaining about the children wearing them. It is the opposite. I am all for children expressing themselves.

I have no idea! I think there must be better things to worry about. Is life so simple that how a kids dresses is such a huge deal? I don't get it either!!!
