Wearing panties for a nap? Good idea?

DD has been pretty awesome with the potty the past few days and has not had an accident so far today (she is so cute when she had to go, she says "Oh Gosh, Oh Gosh" all the way to the bathroom, lol)
But she just crashed right now and is wearing her panties. Do you think she will wet the bed? I don't want her to wake up if I put a diaper on her. She went potty abuot 20 mins ago....

Ah let her try.....its not that big of a deal to wash her sheets if she does wet. I would let her sleep. If she doesnt wet the bed, make a huge deal of how big of a girl she is!

Personally I'd try to sneak a cloth diaper or thick towel under her or resign myself to changing the sheets later... you gotta do this sometime, so it might as well be now if she's asleep!

Peace,

Kat

I think she'll be ok. If your really worried wake her up a little bit early from her nap. But since she just went 20 mins or so ago i wouldn't worry.

I think she should be okay. Does she normally wake up dry anyway after a nap.  If, not its okay to let her sleep with panties on and not put a diaper on.  HOpe that helps

How long does she normally nap for? If it's only an hour or two, I'd just let her sleep with the panties on.

If she is sleeping through the night and waking up with dry diapers then I don't think you have anything to worry about at all. If not...the worse that happens is the bedding gets washed. I'd just let her sleep.

I would let her try. As soon as she gets up make her go to the potty though. Also when I was potty training with my son I would use those plastic trainers that you put on top of the underwear so they can feel if they wet themselves but it wont get all over the bed. I got them at walmart a pack of 3 for $4 something.  He only needed them for a couple weeks and once I noticed he wasnt wetting himself anymore we stopped using them and have been accident free ever since.

She only naps rarely and it is for anywhere from 30 mins to 4 hours! Lol! I just put a towel under her just in case!
