My 15 yr old is going to Yale over spring break to tour it and check out the campus. She's staying with my sister. Anyways my sister is really education/career focused. She knows my dd wants to get married and have kids some day. Well, yesterday we were playing with baloons. And the kids start imitating my belly (I'm pregnant) with the balloons. I told my dd I had the best idea for an April fool's day prank. So here's what we came up with. My dd is gonna come off the plane, go to the bathroom put on a "pregnant"(not sure what material we'll use yet) belly. When my sister and her meet she'll explain that she met this amazing guy and that she and him both wanted a kid now. We haven't thought out all the details yet. What's your opinion? Funny? (don't bash please)

I don't find the humor in it at all.  Not that I think it's bad, I just don't think it's funny.

I did a similar joke to my exes mom a long time ago. She was so excited, my ex & I were playing along for a while. She was pretty annoyed for a minute when we told her, but it was one of my most memorable jokes to date. She was such an amazing lady. I miss the heck outta her. May she RIP. I always think about this joke on April 1st.

If you didn't gather, I love the joke. It is funny & nobody gets hurt! I would do it to my sis in a heartbeat.

It will probably be funnier than it sounds here....use caution though.  I dressed up as a pregnant girl for halloween one year and before the next halloween I really was pregnant and I was not planning to be!

Last year for April fools I got my husband really good.  We had spent our tax return on building a new privacy fence around our house.  I called him at work and hysterically told him that the whole fence fell down.  he belived me, it was hilarious!

I told my mom when I was 13 that I was pregnant, she about died.  Then I said APRIL FOOLS and she was so angry haha.

It would be a good prank, but how do you think your sister would react.  Would she be upset at that kind of trick or would she laugh it off?

I <3 april fools. You will need to work out your details though because likly your sister(?) will be at the gate waiting and she wont get to go the bathroom before hand unless she does it on the plane and there is prob alot wrong with that for security reasons.

Im considering staying up late and setting an alarm clock for like 12am and seeing my husband get up and get ready for work while i sit in the lr laughing at him :D
