I need prayers for my husband. He is currently deployed to Haiti. He is due to come home this Saturday. I got a text message last night saying he was badly burnt. He is in a lot of pain. My first thought was OMG, what happen?? reading that my heart dropped into my gut!
He said he got badly sunburned on both his arms and face. So bad that his face and arms have swollen 3 times the normal size. He can't move his arms with out screaming in pain. Can't even touch his face! They had to cut his wedding ring off his finger that is how bad it is...He said he can't left his own bags to get them home. They told him if he can't left his own bags than he can't fly home Saturday, it's only a 4 hour flight from VA to Haiti! He says he feels very ill and is in a lot of pain. And my husband being a strong man never admits when he is in any kind of pain and never takes anything for it. So him telling me he hurts that bad tells me ITS BAD!! Please ladies, I need your prayers that he will be okay and will get to come home Saturday! I need to take care of him! They wont give him any pain meds there he said....He is on a two week profile. Meaning he won't be able to do PT or work MUCH....I've heard being sunburned this bad can also leave scars?? Ohh dear god, please let this man be okay! He wont even be able to hug his kids, and they are sooooo excited that daddy is coming home!!

Dear Father God,
We come humbly before you right now in the name of Jesus and ask for a healing upon this young man. Lord ease the pain that he carries so that he may be able to not only carry his bag but hug his children. May you do a miracle now Lord. He needs you to give him strength to recover from this burn. Please give this mom the power to do what she can so that he will be well. I thank you lord for men like this who go out and help where help is needed.

OMG I know his pain. First I wanna say I'm sorry and I hope he heals quick.I was sunburned so bad when I was a teen I had 1st and 3rd degree burns on my back and shoulders. I didn't know any better and was in the water for hours laying on what I thought was a normal floaty turns out it was a tanning float and I'm Irish with Irish skin lol.I was on heavy pain meds and had a bubble the size of a golf ball on my shoulder.I had to use this cream which I really can't remember the name silver nitrate lol something like that but anyway it hurt like hell when my mom put it on cause she had to rub it in good but it helped my skin heal nicely I have lil to no scarring.Again I know his pain just try not to touch him and keep the skin clean.
