So yes, I am a liberal and yes I VOTED for Obama, however!  I just don't think he's the savior we were all hoping for.  I just don't see results.  Now I know that he had a big mess to clean up after Bush and there is alot on his plate, but I just don't see the RESULTS!  Anyother democrats think this... and NO I don't wanna hear republican/conservative bull shit.  I know that most of you hate Obama, but that's not what this post is about.

Personally I never thought he would change the world overnight.  I'm just saying that I don't see results.  I adore the Obamas, they are amazing people and especially Barack, he seems like a people person and someone I could walk up to and strike up a conversations with.

To those republicans who posted... yes don't want to hear bashing.  That's NOT the point of this post.  To everyone else THANK YOU for giving me your opinions!  I truely do read them all positive and negative!

I am a married, natural pregnancy and birth loving, breastfeeding until the child is ready, co-sleeping, vaccine supporting, disposable diapering kind of mommy who raises my child the way I feel is right.  I believe both sah and working mothers are the best kind of mothers, that front facing after a year is best, that time outs are necessary, that attatchment parenting is wonderful, but not for everyone, and that educational television is worth it.  I'm pro-life, democratic, and a non-Christian.  I support gay rights and I am a PROUD Middle Eastern American.  Any questions, feel free to message me!

we already did this today...it's a couple pages back.  I don't have the strength to do it again, lol  Btw...anybody who votes for ANYBODY, thinking they are a saviour, is kind of delusional.

I didn't like either one when it all started than I started listening to obama more and i thought he was gonna be great. But i know what you mean About not seeing the results. I didn't get to vote cause they got my voting places mixed up and i couldn't figure out where to go. SO I don't say much cause i didn't vote. But i thought he would have started showing more results by now.But he did have a hell of alot to clean up from bush. I liked clinton when he was in office

I'm not a democrat, but I did vote for him (I'm an independent).  I just think that he didn't realize the mess we were in until he actually took office.  That he could have all these dreams about how he was going to save the world and then when he realized the state of things (things he couldn't have known because they are for president's eyes only), he had to back off of those dreams a bit.

I just tell myself he's better than the alternative...

I'm just hoping that this is the transition period and in a month things will really kick in... I want Obama to succeed!

I think his intentions are very positive and he is doing the best he can.  He is acting the best he can off of the information he gets from advisers, economists, consultants, etc...

There is no way to make everyone happy and no one is perfect.  Because I am aware of this, I don't see a reason to be disappointed.  He is a good man and I think he is intentions are in the right place.

I think there will be many people who believed in his 'change' that will be sorely disappointed.  It isn't Republican vs. Democrat.  They are really the same thing.  Obama has just continued on Bush's policies.  Just as Bush continued on Clinton's policies.  Just as Clinton continued on Bush's policies.  There is  no difference.  There is no 'change'.  That is why we need to vote in someone who will bring back Constitutional beliefs, instead of taking away our Constitutional rights.

My thoughts exactly. All politicians make promises to get your votes...but I think the difference with this election was people really..really believed the lies.

I really do not follow the news very much.  I believe he is trying very hard!  I am giving him a chance!  I am sure it will take some more time to see results.  I did not vote for President Obama.  However, He is still the president, and I am sure he will do a great job!

i think you said it all in your question.  that he's not the "savior" you were hoping for.  obama is just one man, and he's the president...not the king.  his powers are limited to what congress is willing to do.  he's trying, but is being blocked.  if you want another dick cheney but in democrat form, then you have the wrong guy.  obama plays by the rules, as frustrating as it may be.

i am truly glad that we are on our way to getting the country turned around, but what scares me most is that most people are angry and putting the blame on obama...which almost guarantees he will not get reelected.  which also means we may get another ultra-conservative republican in office soon.
