Seriously my kids are so lucky that its illegal to drop them off on someones door step!! OK not that i really would but OMG they were HORRIBLE today at the doctor's office. DD3 had to get an ultrasound done on her kidney's and bladder as a prep for surgery. First off the Tech kept asking me if she was having trouble going to the bathroom and i kept telling her no and then she was like "well i don't see why they are having her come here". I told her that its because she is having surgery on her spine and they wanted the ultrasound done because she has to see a urologist before the surgery. AGAIN she asked me if i noticed her not going to the bathroom or not wetting her diapers. AGAIN i told her no, that she was not having any trouble going to the bathroom. Then my son decided it would be funny to turn the lights off and on while the tech was doing the ultrasound. I was holding the baby still for her because she kept wiggling away. Then my DD2 started tearing up a magazine, so i took that away from her and she let out a scream which I'm sure was heard all the way into the waiting room. Then they both decided to stand in the stroller and throw themselves in the seat which they ended up hitting their heads and started screaming even louder.
Finally they were done with the ultrasound they told me to wait in the waiting room for our copy of a disc that we need for the urologist appointment on Monday and that took almost 30 minutes for them to bring to us, which by the way never has before when i had my pregnancy ultrasounds done. i got the disc before i even left the room. The kids were bored so they started to scream and bite each other, i tried to keep them occupied by letting them look at pictures on my cell and that did no good, so finally i let them just sit there and scream. i figured that maybe if the kids were acting up they would hurry up with that disc.
sorry you had a rough day, mine act horrible at the dr's office too idk why or what it is they just do so I already no I dread going. Hope they act better for you.
It sounds like you need a babysitter for days like that. That way you can take care of business without any distractions. Maybe you could ask a relative or a neighbor to watch them on Monday while you go to the other appointment.
