I really want to try it, but have a feeling its not going to be worth the money. So has anyone here ever tried it? Would you buy it again? TIA

I bought it and I hate it.

I think I've got freak skin or something, it doesn't work for shit on me.

I'm curious about it too, but afraid to try it because my skin gets oily easily.

Me and a girlfriend went to Sephora and the make-up ladies there did a demo on my friend with the Bare Minerals and it came out awesome on her so she bought the starter kit. She could never recreate the look or get it to work for her skin at home after that so it was a bust for her. I like using powder and minerals over liquid/other concealers so I tried Physicians Formula and it works great for me, I get awesome coverage and its made specifically for sensitive/breakout prone skin. It even has SPF 16 so you get a little sun protection too!

Which do you use of the physicians formula? Personally I liked Bare Minerals, but couldn't use enough for the automated every other month. I returned a box and they claimed they never got it, so I was out the money for the box, plus shipping. I had to send the next one back certified. So for that fact I will never do Bare Minerals through the mail again. Now if it was in the store- different story.

Sephora has given me these little jars they put  make up in.They make them up them selves -a sample-it is about a weeks worth. You will need a brush. It looks best with primer ask for a sample of that also.I am clearly older than you but read an article about Cliniques powder make up,you turn the cap and it grinds an applications worth fresh. This article said it was better so when I needed more I bought this.Fantastic ,I inherited good skin but close friends have been asking if I changed moisturizers etc, cause I look better.Nope just the new Clinique and Sephora carries Clinique also so you can get samples of each.

I LOVE bare minerals! It's the only face make up I will use. I highly recommend it. It goes on so smooth and hides EVERYTHING! It really does feel like you're not wearing make up. Awesome stuff! All the ladies in my family use bare minerals.

If you are skeptical about trying it then I suggest getting the starter kit. I think its only about $50 or so. You get the 2 different shades of mineral foundations, the mineral veil (give you the airbrushed, flawless look) and the warmth (bronzer type mineral). The brushes are amazing too! The starter kit lasted me about 6 months. That's using everyday M-F (I skip make up on weekends if I can).

I've also ventured into their eyeliners and eye shadows. I LOVE bare essentials Rocker Eyes!!!! I'm not too impressed with the eyeliners however...unless you dip your brush in water and use them wet they tend to flake and smudge.

P.S. I have very oily skin too and the bare minerals really helps hide it. The mineral veil especially.

Hope this helps :-)
