question for single moms or moms that used to be single

My husband and I are going to separate.  I'm going to buy a rental property - anyone have advice to give me on that?!  That way I will be making enough to pay the mortgage and taxes and the job I get will have to pay for bills and food.  My husband will be paying me a certain amount of money each month, not sure how much yet but we have to get that worked out.  My question is I have three boys which I will have most the time and will be caring for, how do you single mothers do it?  Do you ever get out and have any type of fun?  I'm not a party girl by any means but I do have to get out at least 2x a month and just do something I enjoy.  Are you able to pursue the career that you want?  I'm 26 - soon to be 27yrs and I want to pursue my passion with horses.  We have horses now that my husband said he is taking and we can ride whenever we want but I want to pursue a career in the horse industry.  I know I won't be able to right away but will I eventually be able to?  How long did it take you before you could actually pursue the career you wanted?  I have no idea what to expect.  I'm worried that I'll just always be a woman that has lousy jobs that I hate.

Persue it... doesn't matter how many lousy jobs in between you have before you get your dream career.... keep going after your dream!

I'm a single mother of 2 boys... I went back to college for Business Mgmt-Marketing then I have plans to go onto Law school... I'm 28 about to be 29. If you have the strive and determination to do it... DO IT!

It may take awhile.... it may come to you when you least expect it.... and you might get your dream career tomorrow!!

Thank you for your encouraging words!!  Although I'm still worried of the unknown, I do have a lot of determination and drive.
