Where did my little baby go??!!

Okay my DS is 3 and he is getting SOOO mean! I am talking about wanting to hit, and he thinks its funny. I tell him if he hits he goes into time out. And of course he does it anyways, so off to time out he goes. He hates time out, and screams and cries, but not long after the punishment he is back to being a little monster! OMG my neighbors must think I am a terrible mom, bc he yells so so loud.. I am ready to just cry.. where did my sweet little baby go? Help mommas. I am trying to get him to behave and he just won't. And I feel bad, bc I know that my neighbors can hear him, and they have told me that we are loud. ( I really need to invest in some rugs and super big paintings, or something.) I just want my sweet little boy back, here lately he is just this little mean crazy guy... The two's were a breeze compared to this!

Man I feel sorry for you. My ds was like this and I always worried what the neighbors would think too. Well whatever he's a kid. Just be consistent what worked for me is writing down the rules for him and putting them up on a poster board and when he didn't listen I'd show him what rule he wasn't following and then time out time. Best thing is to catch them before they hit.  Maybe try a schedule or something he can do to be entertained. Good luck!
