Mommies that let em cry it out......give me a shout!    We are not bad mommies, we are not heartless we just know crying isn't the end of the world.  I, for one, am sick and tired of being judged because I let em CIO!

Hell no!!!! I don`t let my babies cry it out! IMO That`s just cruel.cryingangry

Edit: when I say babies, I mean I don`t believe in letting infants CIO for sleep training.

Hmm..I didnt answer the poll. sometimes I do sometimes I dont. depends on the situation and why the are crying.

I don't know why people think its cruel-If my sons being a brat I'm sure as heck not going to give in to him and let him control my house-He goes to his room and cries it out. O well.

If she's OBVIOUSLY just crying....and throwing a fit, then YUP...i let her cry.  I don't have a problem with ppl that CIO, its your child, and you are the parent......you're there to make decisions for your child.  I don't judge anyone for their parenting style or what they do...unless it is harming the kids, ya know?!

GOOD FOR YOU!

It depends on the situation, like right now, my 2 year old will well up with tears if she doesn't get her way.  I just let her scream on the floor and ignore her.

I don't. But my son is pretty easy to calm, and he does not cry just to cry. I can count on one hand the number of times he has had trouble going to sleep, I just cuddle him for a while and put him down when he is ready.

If you CIO....do what you do. But I have never needed to.
