My 16 month old has been sick for about 3 days. Two teeth are comming in. She has a fever and seems tired alot. It does seem like she is getting better. Just has a cough, mild fever and tired. Does this happen when their teething?

Yeah, it does.  The cough could be from extra mucus and saliva.  The fever is from inflammation (the teeth coming through).  And tired could be because her mouth hurts and she isn't eating as much as usual.

Try some ibuprofen before bedtime for her.  It will cut down on the inflammation and pain so she can get some sleep.  Poor kid!

It can happen. Up vitamin C or ascorbic acid and look into Hylands Teething Tablets (homeopathic no side efefcts). It contains belladonna that will help with the fever. keep her hydrated.

My 7mo dd gets a low fever, runny nose, drooling, cranky, tired, and sometimes a cought. I would say it's normal

It definately could be from teething but if the fever lasts for more than 3 days the dr usually recommends to bring them in.  My son ended up having an ear infection and that was what had caused the fever to last for that long.

My son gets like that when he's teething, and both of my children have thrown up because of molars coming in - - hylands teething tablets during the day and a dose of tylenol at night have been when we used for medicine, and frozen wash cloths to chew on during the day.
