Have you ever said anything to your kid (s) or call them a name out of anger or frustration?

I know Im not the only mother who has been at her wits end and beyond frustated at the same time and your kid is going haywire driving you insane while your trying to take care of a bill or something. and you want to just stop everything your doing and either scream at the top of your lungs, but you dont want to feel like a nut job so you just keep it bottled in. Then one day you snap and you say something to you kid ex: "touch it again and my foot will touch your face - got it ?"   OR   " if you dont stop whinning we are not going out to dinner.........few min later........STOP BE A LIL FUCKER WE ARENT GOING NOW!"

Personal power is the life force within everyone. It is the use of our inner energy to influence the quality of life for ourselves and for our children. Personal power is not our physical strength, but rather the drive to accomplish things, the will to love, the energy and commitment to create, to change, to build and to raise healthy, caring children.

I do not swear when speaking to my kids or at them.

I did tell my daughter very calmly once that if she didn't stop hiting her brother I would put some child abuse on her. That is all I said.

I know I have said things that I regret and I apologize to my kids when I make a mistake.  But yes, I think anyone who doesn't lose it has kids that aren't testing them yet.  ....yet.....hahahaaa

I couldn't vote...none of your answers work for me.  I've called my 2 yo an asshole before, but not as a form of punishment or to get through to her.  I did it out of frustration.  Do I feel bad about it?  I guess.  But I can think of worse things.  Lately I'll ask her if she wants a knuckle sandwich.  Haha!

I don't cuss at my children, but I have snapped and said something that I regretted later.
