I was thinking about getting my Daughter a Tag Jr as one of her presents for her 2nd bday. I was just wondering what you all thought about it. Is 2 a good age to use it? What kind of books do they have? DDs favorite shows are Kai-Lan and The Backyardigans, do they have those books?
THANKS.

I have one for my 2 yr old ds and he has kai-lan and backyardigans and dora and a bunch of other ones. He loves his tag jr
My BIL's girlfriend sent my kids each one. My son just has the Tag and my daughter has jr. They both love theres. She only has 2 books though. She has the one it came with and Dora. My son, has like 6 books though. I think they are great tools for little minds :) Oh and my daughter is 2.
We have one but we also have the regular Tag for my four year old, so my two year old prefers to use the regular Tag b/c he, of course, thinks he's big stuff. It's really cute and I think the Jr. is perfect for two year olds. The only downfall is that it will only hold like three, maybe four books at a time but he's got a few more books than that so I have to download the books he wants to read sometimes, so that gets annoying sometimes. But, it's really cute.
My 3 yr old has it.. she loves it!!! yes, they do have Kai Lan! I haven't seen Backyardigans.. but someone mentioned they had it :)
We have one and dd is 4, she still loves it. Ours can hold 5 books at a time and she interacts with it alot. We have curious george colors, the sample book, eric carle book as well that is about animals and animal sounds.
My 2 year old dd also has the leap frog jr. She got it for christmas, she has all the books that go with it and she LOVES it, its part of our nightly routine to get her to bed.
We have a tag JR for my 18 month old and a regular tag reader for my 4 year old. My 18 month old likes the regular tag system better. The pen is easier for her to hold and she feels like a big girl. Also the tag books have more sounds and music in them not to mention you can have it tell the whole story with out the book so your child can hear the story and look at the pics.
the reason i debated over the Tag and the Tag Jr, is because dd loved the Pen better.....BUT i stuck with Tag Jr. because the books are to help teach counting and numbers and stuff like that...and regular Tag just does the story
