Wedding help

We are getting married November 21, so we decided not to have a color theme...but a season theme, we both are in love with fall. For centerpieces I want to do like logs (short ones) with candles on top, I am thinking of making the invitations different colors (the actual invitation will be brown with white and a green, orange, yellow, or red ribbon) The flower girl is going to carry a pail. The table cloths will be brown for the bottom one and either green, orange, yellow, and red on top of that. We haven't decided on bridesmaids dresses yet. My dress is lace with beading, and I am going to make a lace vail. To eat there will be a thanksgiving style buffet with turkey, corn, stuffing, potatoes, you get it. I am wondering if it is too much fall...

It sound wonderful, throw some sunflowers in there too!  If you are making the center pieces yourself the floral department in your local grocery store (if they have one) is the best way to go.  You get fresh flowers for half what you would pay at a florist.  Congrats and Blessings!

Not at all! I love your idea! We are getting married on april 10th & we are having a eastery kind of wedding. Well everything is in pastel colors. I got easter candy for the favors. I have little easter pails to put the candy in......I just have everything else easter colors....lol....oh my flower girl (my DD) is using a easter basket for her flowers! Which was hard b/c we had to find one that would hold live flowers, she cant drop petals at our church she has to hand our live ones.

Sounds neat.  It is autumn so I don't think you can do too much.  You might use gourds/squash/pumpkin for some decorations.  or coloring.  Harvest type decorations.

Oh if you are looking for a deal on flowers check out sams club online, they have great bouquets for dirt cheap prices...I got mine for my bridal party for $104 and they are great! They are in the bulk flowers (bouquets) they are 1/3 the price of a florist!

I had an autumn wedding.  We went all out with the colors, leaves, flowers...even pumpkins!  It was beautiful.  My bridesmaids even wore different fall colored dresses.  My moh wore a chocolate brown dress, then one wore an orange dress, one wore a yellow dress, and the last wore a green dress.  Beautiful!  We even lined the walkway with fall leaves.  :)
