friend of a friends 14 month old died in bathtub
So my friend has a close friend whos cousins baby died Friday. He was 14 months old. She left him alone in the bath tub for a minute while she went into the bedroom to check on her neice. When she came back in the bathroom the baby was laying in the water face down. They called 911 and the police got there b4 the ambulance did. They started at her immediatly. The baby was on life support all night Thursday night and died first thing yesterday morning. They are pursuing charges against the mother for chlld endangerment or something like that. The mom also has a 3 yr old son too. Please pray for this family.
I know i have left my 21 month old alone in the bathtub before and I will NEVER do that again. This has hit just wayy to close to home.
that's really sad. and scary. i haven't left my son in the tub alone for any amount of time. he's 2, and it still scares me shitless to think about walking away for any reason and then coming back to that. in fact, as i was typing that, it made me feel like i was gonna throw up.
Parenting 101...don't leave small children alone in the bath tub.
Where was the three year old when all of this happened?
i bathe my 10 month old in the sink, honestly its way easier because i don't have to break my back lol. plus cleanin the sink is faster and easier than the tub. i have to bleach the crap outta things before i put him in the sink or tub. but that is so scary :( a few months ago there was a guy in a town a few hrs from me who put his 16 month old son in a burning hot bathtub and killed him. they said when they found him his skin was all peeling off and he died from all his organs being burned :( i felt so sick when i read that story i just wanted to stick him in a damn deep fryer and see how he likes it. i just don't understand why a human would want to hurt or kill another human purposely ecspecially when its your own flesh and blood...
