Thats it...ive had it ...easter is CANCELLED!

My daughter will be 8 in may, and her freakin attitude is getting to be BAD! , i have done everything..taken things away, stuck her on grounding for three days (no comp, no tv, no video games, no phone.....she came home from school, went in her room...came out for dinner and homework and that was it).

So this week we have had it with her attitude, and i told her yesterday that she better not think that she is getting ANYTHING for easter (she knows about easter...you know who). She freaked, but oh freakin well!.

And i am serious...im going to keep a log of her attitude from now till then...ill still go out and buy things for her just incase, but ill be damned if she is going to wake up easter morning with anything, if all she has been giving to me is freakin attitude!. If she has a good attitude from now till then, then i will give it to her easter morning...if not, she will wake up with nothing!, perhaps her attitude will change...and if it does, within two weeks of that ...THEN i will give her the easter stuff.

Yep im mean, but i am soooo sick and tired of this "im on a pedastel and your a peice of dirt " attitude.

*JUST TO CLARIFY* This is a vent post...however, i am serious lol, i just needed someone to vent too because the SO just doesnt get it.

My kids got Christmas 2 days late because of their misbehavior around that time. They really thought they were not getting any Christmas gifts, lol. It changed their attitude, they are doing much better now.

Thanks gals, i am just venting...i try to vent to the SO and all he does is look at me , like im the meaniest thing on earth...yet 10 minutes later he is getting frustrated with her attitude lol...i swear ya cant win .

Are you the same "mom" who cancelled her kids christmas a couple years ago? Either way you stink! My kids get a freebie card on all holidays! AND they are very well behaved to boot!

Omg I hate the "Im better than you attitude" I just stopped including her on family stuff. She learned real quick, treat your family good, and you will be treated good.

wait a minute...there was a mom that cancelled christmas??? Ok, even i  think that is going over the edge!...and yep im sure my daughter would agree with you, i stink lol. However, i don't see the point in rewarding her for her attitude, and her abuse towards me (she puts her hands on me constantly), she doesnt deserve candy and chocolate for doing that. Just because its a holiday, doesnt mean she should get a free card. Heck , her birthday is coming up in may...and your darn straight that if her atittude doesnt get better before that, she wont be having the sleep over that she wants...oh she will get cake and her favorite dinner with me and her dad, but thats about it.

Ugh I'm coming to your house! I hate Easter. My kids are on like a 24 hour sugar high because my parents don't understand the words LIMITED SUGAR lol. They get them (mainly DD cause she's older then DS) huge baskets stuffed with candy.
