We found out on wednesday that they think my mother has lung cancer. Its not 100% confirmed until they do a biopsy but they are pretty sure. I want to do something for my mom to help with her spirits but I don't know what would be good. I'm still kinda in shock myself bout the whole thing.
Be yourself. Smile and talk to her as you normally would. I'm sorry. I hope she doesn't have it, am sending my prayers. It is a horrible thing to go through. Lost my fil in Jan. :0(
I broke down and cried with him at first, but then decided he need happiness in his final days. So I copied jokes off the computer (cause he was always a prankster), I hugged him and talked with him about normal things, things he like such as flowers and gardening.
(hugs)
Im so sorry for the both of you. My mother was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2007. Sadly we lost her in 2009 due to a lot of complications. If your mom feels up to what about you and her taking a small trip together. doing something fun to take both of your minds off of it.
Thank you for responding. I've lost my mil, fil, and grandmother to cancer but i just never expected or even thought possible that my mother could end up sick. Even tho she's had lung issues for some time now.
I'm so sorry. I will pray for her to go into remission.
