my hubs and i are starting to get off the same page... sometimes i think in different chapters with rules, and punishments...
so, id like some ideas...
the rules i have set are
couches are for sitting on, no playing on them
you eat what we give you for dinner, or the one alternate i offer, im not a short order cook
bath water stays in bathtub
bed time is bed time not play time
no hitting or taking toys
thats all i can think on the top of my head..... any help would be awsome

make sure the toys you are not playing with are picked up
garbage goes in the can not on the floor
yelling is for outside not inside as with running jumping throwing balls/etc
chores MUST be done before dinner
when im cooking no one and i mean no one is allowed in the kitchen
ummmmmmmmmmmmmm sure theres alot more but i cant think right now, lol.
oh and toys stay in the rooms!!!!
sinks are NOT for bathing in, they are to wash our hands, lol
make sure whatever mess you make is cleaned up right away
i have alot of rules, alot of guidlines, i guess but i have 7 kids so without them my house would be straight up chaotic!!!
Mom to 7!! DS tristan-9 SS joey-9 SS johnny-8 DD nicole-6 DS collin-4 and twin DD hailey and elizabeth-3 and SO to joe of 5 years!!!!
anything helps really... we just need to set rules, cause im tired of this, lol

ok this is what i did with my son.. we took a long roll of paper and wrote down our essential aggrements.. he got to make one for each one i made. we wrote it down using lots of colors and put cute stickers over it. stuck it in his room and read it all the time.
we both remind each other when we stray.
mine were 1. to eat on his own 2. not to touch a switch without asking 3. to pray before sleeping and eating 4. to discuss his day in school 5. to respond immediately to someone who calls him 6. only one hour of screen time (tv / comp)
then as a general rule we eat chocolates and chips only on saturdays.
ds is such a good kid thou that i hardly need any rules.
