All of these posts on fat people eating!

I usually agree with the majority on CM mom about most things. BUT, when I see a family of obese people chowing down french fry after french fry in resteraunts, I find it gross and sad.

Then they labor to breathe and walk up to the line to order yet another Big Mac and complain about their health problems.

A lot of women have weight problems on this site, myself included, and I know some people have health reasons FOR being fat, but being obese and not gorging yourself on fast food is kind of a no brainer. Especially when said person is complaining about being fat while eating at KFC.

Edit:

I'm at work, and supposed to be working, so I can't really reply much anymore.

Ok, I am going to summarize my answers, so those of you who don't want to read everything can read them.

1. I am not fat. Not anymore, I was, and yes I was disgusted with myself. I do not have an eating disorder. It took me a year to figure out the best way to eat healthily.

2. Just beacuse I see this/ or saw this particular family and thought this way, it does not mean that I went up and ridiculed them. I would never, ever, try to make anyone feel bad. I think that it is sad, and I am afraid for our future generations.

3. Because of that, yes, I do work with grade school kids on how to eat healthy in an after school program. I see the results of bad eating choices daily, so yeah, I do judge those who I see gorging themselves in public.

I'm sorry, but I still maintain that for the majority of obese people, they are doing it to themselves.

What if that time you see them chowing down on french fries is their one treat a month?  What if they eat healthy the rest of the month and you caught them on their day off?

So if they're fat and struggling to breathe and eating french fries and don't say a word about being overweight, then what?

Lol. Then I would want to know what "healthy" foods they are eating so I can avoid them?

I was wondering the same thing.  It bugs me when people pass judgment without knowing the whole story.

I already answered this, but I would also like to add... When trying to eat healthy while you are obese, "days off" shouldn't happen. You need to change your lifestyle completely. Not just diet.

Just because they are fat doesn't mean that they don't eat healthy, they may have health issues or maybe they are dieting and you saw them on their "cheat" day. Ya know what I hate, judgemental people.

What if they have a medical problem or they're on medication (most cause weight gain) and it's hard for them to lose weight?  What if they just started their diet and that was their first time out?

What I'm saying is, don't judge until you know their personal story.  To you they look like a fat person eating french fries.  To them, it could be many many reasons why they are there at that moment at the weight they are.
