ok so another couple that dh and i hang out with was over to our house lastnight. our dd is 3 she is a few months younger than their dd. She is not potty trained, not even close. my dd has been potty trained for a while now. she started a few months before her 2nd bday.

any way we were in the livngroom bowling on the wii and our dds were in her bedroom coloring. My dd  comes out and says that our dog pooped on the floor, our dog as well is potty trained so i go in there and there are 3 spots on the floor, 3 spots of poop! and one big ass one that looked like she drug ger ass accross the carpet, all mushed into the carpet.i asked the girls what happened neither one would say, so her dad looked in her pull up and sure enough she shit and shit on my dd floor!!!!

than i had to clean it up they didnt even offer, and no punishment for their dd or anything!

I wouldn't punish a child for a potty training accident but I definitely would have apologized and cleaned it up myself. Gross, sorry that happened.

Oh I would be PISSED! I would never invite them over again. That is disgusting, and they didnt even offer to clean it!? Thats just wrong.

this, punishment for an accident is completely unnecessary and counterproductive.

but I would have apologized and cleaned it up. Becka, even after being potty trained had very runny poop explosion all over the floor at the bank and I cleaned it with their limited supply of cleaning supplies. It was awful, but I couldn't leave it there.

They should have helped clean it but you dont punish a child for an accident. Not everyone has a child that potty trains fast or easy.

I would have put it into a plastic shopping bag and handed it to the parents.

They should have cleaned it up; that was completely disrespectful on their part.

I would be pissed off. I understand accidents happen. But the fact they didn't even offer to clean it up, oh no no no. That means they aren't coming over to my house anymore.

I would not punish a child for pooping but I would have at least cleaned it up. That is nasty I don't believe other people should have to take care of my kids poohs and pees unless i am paying them to. I would have insisted that I clean it up! Gross! When I was a kid our freinds came over and my mom went to the store. HEr son vomited all over the bathroom floor, and we told there mom and she said okay. That was it. She left it, and she was the one caring for all of us at the time. Me and my sister who were kids cleaned it. It was super gross.
