Question for Co-sleepers!!!

Do your babies wake up completely drenched in sweat? My son wakes up every morning and it's almost like he's pee'd the bed (which I know he hasn't). His hair will be soaked like he just got out of the bath. He sleeps in nothing but a onesie. Is this normal or is my kid just weird?? ;)

when my son is sick he co-sleeps with us, and sometimes hell wake up  covered in sweat.

maybe you have to many clothes or blankets on him

I was thinking that and that's why I started putting him a onesie (he was wearing a light sleeper), but that didn't help. And he only sleeps with a top sheet on him. Not even a blanket. I feel like my only other option is to put him to bed in only a diaper!

A few of my kids were like that too.try having a fan on low in the room to move the air around. It also is a soothing sound for them to boot.maybe the lil ones just a baby furnace ha ha I know my boys are and have been since day 1.

I never had that problem. Be sure the vents are open in your room and be sure the temperature in the house isn't too high.

No, but I keep it a little cooler in my room also. Maybe you could try closing the heat vent (if you live in a cooler state/country) and turn a fan on low, either oscillating or ceiling.  Do you share a blanket? It could be your body heat, or maybe he's just to warm. If cooling your room down at night doesn't work then I'm out of ideas. I've had my daughter wake up drenched in sweat once and it was boiling hot in my room so it made sense. But if your already doing these things and he's literally soaked in sweat maybe you should talk to his pedi? How old is he?

BUT I WANT ALL THE CANDY ON EASTER!!!

when i coslept with my oldest, he didn't sweat in the bed unless he was hot, or the blanket was on him. i still cosleep with my youngest and he doesn't do it, he'll wake up if he's too hot.

Our little one sleeps right between our head, and we've never had an issue with sweating. We did have an issue with the kind of diapers we were using, they literally let all the pee run out the back and up his back all the way to his head.. and the diaper wouldnt even be that wet..
