if my mother saw she would have slapped me! it wasnt bad, and only on one side of him from the way i held him (which looks so funny btw), but WOW. he was so pink! we had him on the porch in a playpen for most of the time we were out there but i held him about 15 mins or so to feed him and put him down for a nap twice. i cant believe thats all it took :( my poor guy! that sun was BEAMING, summers on its way :D

i felt like such an asshole though seriously. my friend and i were talking all day long about how we had to keep him on the porch so he wouldnt get a sunburn, and he got one anyways. poor baby! the pink has dulled a bit and honestly it looks a little tan, and hes not uncomfortable anymore. hopefully he will have his dad's skin and wont burn too badly. i dont know why i didnt put sunscreen on him? i guess i just wasnt expecting it since it was the first warm day in SOOO long.

he does look super cute with his farmers tan though :) i just hope MIL doenst come over til it fades lol

just look at it as a lesson learned. I always put sun screen on my ds and put a hat on him. even in the pool. I get horrible burns and I dont want him to suffer. But your not a bad mommy. These things happen.

Aww I know what you mean! I was in a car accident with 3 other cars when my daughter was about 3 months old. I was holding her in my arms while it took forever to sort anything out. I didnt think anything of it till the next day and on one side of her face and one arm she had a mild sunburn (she was asleep sideways across one arm). I felt sooo bad because I usually am so careful and a natzi about sunscreen. If its already fading and he doesnt seem uncomfortable im sure he is fine, but I totally get what you mean lol
