 So do your kids watch Sponge Bob? I always thought it was kind of stupid, but if Kara wanted to watch it I didn't see any harm in it....until today. There was an episode where sponge bob and Mr. Crab thought they accidentally killed a health inspector and they were trying to cover up the murder. I was shocked. Does anyone else think this is too much for a cartoon meant for children?

I think some of them are pretty funny.  It's not like they're watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre.  Mine have been watching it for a while and don't mimic the behavior they see on the show.

 I absolutely HATE that stupid cartoon. DH sees nothing wrong with it and lets them watch it. If nothing else is on I might let them watch it, DH turns it on purposely to annoy me.

my dd is 2 and she knows the goofy goober song from the movie, that is about it never seen any 'bad' episodes myself....

 It's not too much! It was a funny episode and if my kids wanted to watch Spongebob, they can. Nothing is off limits to my kids, except sex, sexual inuendos, things on adult swim and South Park. Other then that, we don't censor!
