Well about 3o minutes ago i signed into myspace and saw my baby sister;s status (shes 21) and it said that the state took her kids away. So the first thing i do is call my mom to find out if she had heard and of course my sister had called her crying. From what my sister told my mom a "friend" of hers(and i call her that because this woman is in love with calling CPS when she should be calling them on herself, she doesnt work lives off her kid's SSI and sleeps with every tom, dick, and harry) stopped by to visit my sister and noticed that my niece had a rash, so she called CPS (my sister's words, but she also lies a lot)
I know in my heart part of the reason has to be that my sister is addicted to meth, she tries to hide it but we can all tell and we've tried many times to get her help but she doesnt listen. The ghetto in me wants to go on a ass kicking spree but the mom in me wants to bitch slap my sister for doing this to her babies. I love her kids like they were my own and i just cant believe she would put her habit above her kids. not the first time she did this, my SO caught her drinking beer when she was about 2 months pregnant with her youngest which is 3 weeks younger then my almost 4 month old.
she hangs out with the worst people in town and on a side of town which is known for its drug use. I want to comfort my sister because i can only imagine how hard losing your kids can be but at the same time i want to slap her for being so stupid. I would love to take her kids in but my place is so small and i have 3 kids already and having six kids in my tiny place wouldn't even be legal. I know that the kids are in a better environment right now but still it breaks my heart knowing that they are away from their mom.
maybe this will be the wake up call for her to get the help that she needs? regardless of who/why they called- SOMETHING was bad enough for the state to take the kids.
