hey, my hubs and i were talking.... why arnt WE THE PEOPLE voting on this?????? were a democratic society, yet seems like were not voting on the trilions spent for bailouts, the healthcare reforms, or really much at all latley..... sept state stuff......

am i the only one who finds this odd?

Yep, this is how it works. I don't like it but it's how things are done. The American people vote for the people who will represent our voice when it comes to things such as the healthcare bill.

The peolpe I voted for are very against it. They have already said they will tie this Bill up in the Supreme Court if they have to!

You have NO say. And once this is passed (and it will) you really will have NO say. You will be forced to take the insurance or pay a fine. the IRS will intercept your taxes if they have to.

I was never much into Government and Politics. I read this Bill, I'm listening to the arguments. I'm shaking my head waiting for the shit to roll down hill from here.

I'm sure you'll get attacked for this comment, but I totally agree.  I'm in "the middle" and my personal opinion of Democrats/Liberals are that they want to dictate how they should spend OUR money.  Not a fan of that concept.

 Why are our representatives not representing us? We put them in office to speak for us and yet they are ignoring us. There are countless polls showing the majority of the people in the country don't want this bill. I do want health care reform, just not this bill, and not this way. Just remember this come November. I sure will.
