What Do You Think Of People Who Have No Idea What Is Going On In The World?

I mean like people who have no idea what is going on in the news, etc.,?

Have you ever seen Jay Leno's "Man On The Street" interviews?

Personally, they bother me when they voice an opinion about a subject they obviously know nothing about.

Well, I would say they need to get with the program. That would include me as well. It's the first thing I do is turn on the news in the morning, or read on the Internet. I get the local paper once per week. Gotta try and keep up with what's happening. But I can't say I am all that smart about everything. lol

At least you have intellectual curiosity!  That is more than many other people.

I agree.  If I am clueless about something, I admit it.  I don't try to come up with some kind of answer and pretend I know what I'm talking about....

I try to keep up with the news (as much as possible) and form my own opinion, and I wish others would do the same.

I don't think much about them. Sometimes I don't know whats going on in the world either. I mean I watch the News every night before bed but I know I could research a whole lot more. Between researching car seats, weather, current event, recipes, children curriculum, and raising my kids its easy to miss something. I just pray and trust that everything will just have to be okay.

I've never seen Jay Leno's "Man on the Street" interviews...I'll have to be sure to catch one!

It frustrates me when people do not read the news and educate themselves on very important matters. It's not hard to go online and read the news!

It frustrates me very much..I'll just leave it at that before I start venting ;)

I don't know that it bothers me but i don't think I could function without checking on the news before leaving the house.  I check my local and  national news online every morning and night.  I just like to know whats going on I guess.

Sometimes I wish I didn't know. Especially the crimes against children.

I agree 100%. some things on the news disturb me so bad, and cause me great anxiety.

Gee, I wish I had time to sit down and actually watch the news in the evenings, but I'm usually busy fixin supper, doing homework,  or at study group.

I can't even remember the last time I was able to sit down and just watch the tv.

same with newspaper, I'll read it if there is a copy on the train on the way to school, but I don't go out and buy it everyday, just on Sundays mainly for the grocery coupons.

about the only time I really get to know what is going on is when I am able to sit and stare mindlessly at the computer screen while the local news site is showing.

I do try and stay informed about what is going on, but sometimes I just don't have time.
