I was just wondering how many of you ladies actually NEVER take your eyes off of your children? Honestly. Is it even possible to keep an eye on them 100% of the time that they are awake? I've heard it a few times where other moms have been bashed for not watching what their child was doing and for taking their eyes off of them for even a minute. And then these moms that have done the bashing swear up & down that they NEVER take their eyes off of their own child. I don't buy it personally. So I figured I would ask and see if I am wrong. Honestly I'm very curious about it.

 nope. DS is a sneaky lil crapper tho. i swear some times- he just magically disappears. lol

ETA: i know this isnt a part of the question, but inside the house- the kid is on his own.. outside of the house/in a new environment- my eyes are on him 100%... if not, then his hand is in my hand the entire time... except for at the park, which kinda sucks cuz you have to keep moving around to keep a slight eye on the kids. the park is about half the size of a football field- it has a bunch of different levels (its liek a huge wooden castle/ship) and if you are on one end- you cannot see the people on the other end.. and its semi-close to the road, so anyone can come and just take whatever kid they want.. so i TRY to keep my eyes on him, but it never works out that well...

but like i said before--- inside the house (which i believe this question is based on)-- the kid is practically on his own. lol

21 year old single mom of a 4 year old boy. Not sure exactly what kind of mom I am, but I get a chance to better myself everyday. My biggest goal for 2010 is to break out of my shell.

~~~ I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.
 um no. well they are sleeping right now anyways. WTH how could you watch your kids 100% of the time? You don't take a shit? *not you OP, just in general* You drive looking backwards at your kids? You don't look in the mirror? You don't take a shower? complete BS.
I am 31 weeks pregnant and I have a 4 1/2 and a 2 1/2 year old. I am not taking them to the bathroom with me every time I need to go! There is NO way for anyone to keep there 'EYE' on there kids 24/7 when they are awake!
PSH! YEAH RIGHT! Call me a crappy mother, but I would never get a single thing done if I didn't take my eyes off them. I don't hover. I make my house as safe as possible. If they have an issue with each other, I try to get them to work it out between themselves. Do they hurt and mess with each other? YOU BETCHYA! Do I consider myself a bad or unattentive parent? Hell no!
