ok call me uneducated, stupid, whatever you want, but I guess I don't have time to watch the news or have educated friends that sit around and talk about it, but what does this new health care bill mean for people? I know nothing about it. Please don't bash me for not knowing I just want answers.

thank you sati769leigh...........that is absolutly obssured. The main reason people don't have insurance in the first place is because their employer doesn't offer it and they can't afford it. Now he is going to make them carry it and then put people further in debt. STUPID STUPIS STUPID why did I vote for him?????
basically it will force everyone to have coverage... if smaller companies are not providing coverage... because of costs and cut backs they will be fined. private rates are going to increase, pre existing will be covered in 4 years, children with or without pre existing cannot be denied, which they aren't now the rate are just higher (I would know I have a disabled kid!) and that your taxes are going to sky rocket! oh yea and if you don't get insurance then you pay an annual fine of like 695 and if you don't pay, they garnish your wages!
