Can you food color white almond bark?

 does anyone know if you can add color to white almond bark?  I heard it ruins it

I really don't know, maybe try the paste or powder instead of the liquid food coloring.

 well actually that is what I have  --the wilton paste type

definately do the powder or paste powder will be best. The liquid ruins it cause it is like adding water to the chocolate.

 I didnt even know of powder kind--does wilton make it too?  anything special it is for?

There is a coloring specifically used for coloring chocolate and white chocolate. I have always used that.  I would try coloring a small amount of it first to see.

Don't use food coloring...Use the gel :)
