I just got back from my surgical consult. I thought the only way to treat/cure the pain from my endometriosis would be to have a hysterectomy. My doctor told me about a much better option, that may not be the permanent cure, but would give me a few more years to let my body get to the point that it would be able to handle a hysterectomy. Instead of the major procedure, I'll be having a laporoscopy with the option of removing my left ovary if it is as bad as he thinks it may be. I will also been given the option of having children again if I go through with this procedure! I'm so happy right n ow... So many closed doors have been reopened!

I hope it works well for ya. I had a total hysterectomy in 2004 when I was 33. I hated having to have it done so early in life. Both my ovaries were bad. Good luck I hope this procedure helps.
