You would be surprised. Pediatricians recommend it often. My son was Failure To thrive and we were prescribed cases of formula and Pedisure.

Nothing really.  But I think they are all loaded with sugar and is not necessary for young children.

I feel I am the parent and I am setting up my son's eating and drinking habits so he does not get any of those things.  I think he has only had chocolate milk once at his mimi's house.

Hey.. Some babies don't like regular formula.. Maybe they use a scoop of this to help the parents and the baby out..

I never put my children on cow's milk either way because of the issues with it. I guess to each their own, I just find it sad that there is actually a product out there like this.

I am not disputing that they don't. I just know that mine would recommend alternatives before something of this nature.

Definitely not something I'll ever use, I'll stick to full-term breastfeeding. I never used pediasure either or pedialyte for that matter.

BUT, the next time some person on here says that I shouldn't breastfeed my todder because kids are off of formula by a year, I'll be sure to point this out.

 I guess I don't see anything wrong with it... It still has nutrients and everything...  May have a little more sugar, but in moderation I guess i don't see it as harmful...
